MSIL supervises manufacturing and distribution of Vidya and Lekhak products. The manufacturing process has socio-economic implications as it has given Employment opportunity to a large number of skilled labourers. Distribution is effected not only through retail outlets and depots but aslo directly to schools, colleges and co-operative societies.Vidya notebooks are available in the States of Karnataka and Tamilnadu.

The Paper Division also Markets Pakcaged Clean and Germ free drinking water under the brand name "COOL" and has plans to extend the range to include Mineral Water / Soda, and Herbal water etc.
